Controller's Office

Kim has over 25 years of experience in governmental finance and accounting, auditing, and property taxes.  In addition, Kim has over 10 years of experience in auditing, financial and cost management, and consulting in private sector. Kim’s governmental experience spreads through 3 Counties:  Sacramento, Santa Clara, and San Mateo.

She is a graduate of the Cal State University at Long Beach and an active Certified Public Accountant.   While in college, Kim was one of the grass-root volunteers for the passage of Proposition 13.  Kim is a volunteer for GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program Special Review Committee and GFOA’s Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award Program.
